Objective of the Department
TO DEVELOP MANAGERIAL AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS OF THE STUDENT THROUGH A PRAGMATIC APPROACH TO MODERN BUSINESS WITH A SOUND KNOWLEDGE OF BUSINESS CONCEPTS AND OVER ALL DEVELOPMENT OF THE STUDENT.

History of the Department
The department of Business Administration was started in the year 1995-96 following the syllabus framed by Madurai Kamaraj University and gradually the department stepped into autonomy.

A certificate course on MS-Office.
A certificate course on Tally 9

Focusing Our Highlights
Organised two Regional level seminars (2003&2004).
Two Intercollegiate competitions (2003&2004) were organized.
One day seminar on “Consumer Delight in Service sector”conducted on 24 Jan’ 2005
One day State level seminar on “Corporate Ethics”organized on 15 Feb’ 2006
One day State level seminar on “Human Resource
Management” organized on 14 Mar’ 2007
Won Seven Overall shields in the intercollegiate competitions.

Extension Activities:
Students visit “The Association of Arulagam”, a Home for sexually exploited and oppressed women and young girls from poverty stricken families who need protection from all kinds of exploitation in the society.
Our students extend basic education to the illiterates by teaching them English, Tamil and Mathematics.
