DISCIPLINARY RULES
On becoming a member of the
College every one should accept the obligation to obey the rules and
regulations of the College.
Indulging in any of the following will result in dismissal/ suspension from
the College.
"Ragging of any sort or indulging in emotional violence inside the
college/hostel campus.
" Any kind of malpractice (Cheating, copying in tests and examinations,
giving false declarations etc.) in the campus or anywhere else.
" Leaving the hostel without proper permission from the warden.
LIBRARY RULES:
Libnet Edusat is available for all staff and students. The Library is the
island of knowledge which develops the power of the mind and hence the
college encourages maximum use of the library. It is kept open from 8.00
a.m. to 4.00p.m. on all working days including Saturdays.
U.G. Students are given 10 days and P.G. Students 15 days for borrowing
subject, general books and fiction.
Books should be returned on the due date stamped on the date sheet of each
book.
The borrower herself should bring the books to return to the library.
Sub-lending of books or token is forbidden. The student who sub-lends the
books or token as well as the student who borrows ij will be subjected to
disciplinary action.
Loss of library ticket / token should be reported to the Librarian at the
earliest. If a book is lost or not returned in good condition replacement of
the same book is obligatory.
Check the pages of the book (s) before leaving the library counter. The last
borrower will be held responsible for the missing page, scribbling,
underlining and other damages in the book.
Books removed from the library book shelves should be left on the reading
table. Absolute silence shall be maintained inside the library. Combined
study, discussions and consultations are strictly prohibited.
Monday-Friday : 8 a.m - 4 p.m
Saturday Non working day : 9 a.m - 1 p.m
Government holidays:Library service is not offered on government Holidays

Your College IO will pass for Library user - ID
This IO gives you the
Privilege to check out
6 Books at a time for UG students
10 Books at a time for PG students.
12Books at a time for Ph.D students
25Books at a time for Staff
It is Mandatory for you to present your IO when you enter the Library
Your IO will be the key to the gate entry Scanner (After class Hour)
You may check out a book for a short time for Xeroxing against surrendering
your ID.
LOAN PERIOD
Normally you have the privilege to checkout a book for 10 days. The due date
is stamped on the due date slip pasted on the first page of the book.
LIBRARY POLICIES
Perfect silence should be observed inside the Library.
Do not take any personal belongings inside the library other then a few
writing sheets.
You are asked to handle Materials carefully.
Misappropriation Mutilation and misuse of library materials would be
considered a criminal act and the disciplinary committee of the college
would take appropriate action.
The borrower herself should return the books to return.
Sub-leading of books and ID is forbidden.
You are not allowed to check out journals, Magazines, back Volumes of
journals, reference
books. and Rare books.
Please bring damaged books to the attention of a library staff and get their
initials next to the damage before you check out the library books.
If a book is not returned in good condition or lost, replacement of the same
copy of the book is required .THE COST OF THE BOOK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
FINE AND FEESYou are charged 50 Paise Per day if the book is over due.
Rs. 5.00 will be collected for each missing barcode Label.
Outside membership fee is Rs.2001- Per year.
Photocopying Per exposure is 50 Paise.
