Fatima College has designed a Student-centred curriculum and introduced Choice Based Credit System which has provided the opportunity to make radical curricular modifications offering Inter Disciplinary Optional papers / subjects from one’s own and other Departments, and Diploma / Certificate courses for all students. The curriculum is designed to focus on a wholesome education that is need based, value / ethic based, job / career based and research-based. Computer based papers are offered by all departments. In order to stimulate research skill, projects are made mandatory to the final year students. Hands on training through internship and exposure programmes are offered by most departments. The general characteristic of change in syllabus is according to local relevance, vocational skills and applied aspects.

An English Attainment Test (EAT) to first years with Bridge Course followed by Regular Remedial Teaching, three streams of English Course-Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Spoken English Classes enhance the Communication Skills of the students. Apart from the Regular Curriculum, Value Education, Human Rights Education, Environmental Studies are also imparted.

The College has kept pace with the emerging trends Information Technology by introducing programmes with Computer Applications (B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. I.T., M.C.A., M.Sc. (IT&M), M.Sc. (CS&IT), Commerce with Computer Applications, Sociology with Computer Applications and a compulsory IT Foundation Course (for all Under Graduates). Post Graduate courses like M.A. Economics, M.Com. and M.Sc. Physics have introduced Computer Application papers.
