MOU with NGO ‘ DHAN FOUNDATION ’ (2006-2008)

Curriculum Development: ‘Accounting Practices of Non Profit Organisations’ for II M.Com.
|

Research & Extension: Students of II M.Com participated is a survey organized by DHAN Foundation.
|

|
|
Student Placement in jobs: In 2006-07, 33 II M.Com students appeared for written test and 3 students selected for placement. In 2007-2008, 27 II M.Com students appeared for written exam and 10 students were selected for placement.

|
MOU with Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Madurai Chapter since 2007-2008 (till date) This MOU is for preparing the students to write the foundation exam of the professional ACS course (Associate of Company Secretaries). Students are helped to register for the exam with the ICSI, Kolkata. Experienced staff of the Department spare their valuable time in teaching and coaching the students in the 4 papers that comprise the Foundation course.

Linkage with WE (Women Entrepreneurs) Women Empowerment Forum of TN chamber since 2008-2009 (till date). This membership enables the students to participate in various input sessions on women entrepreneurship. The students are taken for an Industrial visit every year and exposed to the entrepreneurial ventures.

|
Linkage with Indian Bank since 2000-2001 (till date). This linkage enables the students of B.Com and M.Com to have internship in their branches during the summer vacation in which the students are exposed to the various activities of the bank. This linkage is for training the students who take up the UGC sponsored Diploma in ‘E-Finance’. The students will be given hands on training in E-Banking and Core banking solutions.
